Description:
HollménNeutron is quite possibly the smallest legible bitmap font in the world, and it's completely free! The font includes all standard English characters, several symbols (comma, asterisk, backslash etc.) as well as the Danish letters (æ, ø, and å) and some French letters. HollménNeutron is useful for squeezing large amounts of text into small spaces.

In order to use HollménNeutron, you need to download Bitmap Font Writer - a free program by Stefan Pettersson.

Minimum requirements

• Windows 95/98/ME/NT/XP/2000 (or later)
• Bitmap Font Writer, by Stefan Pettersson (for writing text)
• HollménNeutron (the font)
• Approx. 30 KB disk space

Instructions

1. Download and install Bitmap Font Writer
2. Download the HollménNeutron font, and extract the compressed file
3. Launch Bitmap Font Writer, and choose "Load Font..." from the "File" menu. Load "HollmenNeutron.bmp"
4. Type (or paste) your text in the "Text" section
5. When done, press the F9 key of your keyboard (or click on the button to the right, labeled "abc")
6. Your text will be displayed. You may now copy/save your text.
7. Done!

• Silkscreen is a small TrueType font, similar to HollménNeutron. Silkscreen is free and was created by Jason Kottke (no affiliation). We recommend using HollménNeutron, since you can customize a lot of font settings in Bitmap Font Writer. Still, Silkscreen is a good font, and worth checking out.
